Periscope Expands Facility
February 15, 2017 by Screenmag
Periscope Post and Audio has undergone a major transformation in the past year. Having added 3 new 5.1 mixing rooms, a dedicated Foley stage, a large live recording room, 2 new color rooms, and 6 new editorial/dailies rooms opening end of January, Periscope is headed into 2017 full of confidence.
“We have made the transition from a nascent company in a temporary space to having what I consider the most visually impressive facility in the entire city," says Alex Gaudieri, Head of Business Development.
As Periscope heads into the New Year, they will be finishing the build of the only large-scale dubbing theatre in Chicago. It will feature a dual-operator Avid S6 console, and have theatrical seating for clients. It will also function as a screening room for clients who wish to project their film to a sizable audience.
While mainly focused on feature films and network-based shows shooting at Cinespace, Periscope has provided post services for over 100 commercials in the past year. Some of the more high-profile clients were Pepsi, Honda, and Groupon. The company also recently added talents John Wong and C. Ryan Stemple.
“Clearly our strategy of providing one-stop, complete post production services from dailies to delivery has enabled our clients to rely completely on us and not have to think about moving from place to place to piece together their project," Gaudieri says. "Our vision for our company is coming together and we are excited about the future.”
